Has anyone else looked into the lack of security cameras in the area where Carlos Alcontar was killed? I was reading that part of town had issues with crime, yet there seems to be a serious lack of surveillance. For Carlos's family and close friends, I can't even begin to imagine the pain of not having answers or evidence to point them in the right direction. I hope more lights are shed on this case soon. The community needs to rally together to help fill in the gaps and hopefully bring some peace to those who loved him.
Hey everyone, I've been following the discussions on Carlos Alcontar's case and felt compelled to chime in about something that's been on my mind. Reading through various articles and comments, I can't stop thinking about the significance of community involvement in cases like this.
It's clear that the authorities have been working hard, but sometimes it feels like these cases hit a wall just when they need a breakthrough the most. I know it might be daunting or even scary for some to come forward with information, but those little details, like remembering an unusual sound that night or seeing someone unfamiliar in the area, can truly make a world of difference.
Carlos was just 29 years old—he had so much life ahead of him. It's so unjust for his family to be left in the dark this way, unable to find closure. I'm hoping more people in Fresno find it in their hearts to share any piece of information, no matter how small it might seem. Together, we can shine a light on what happened that night and help bring Carlos's family the justice they deserve.
Hi everyone,
I've been going down the rabbit hole with the Carlos Alcontar case lately, and there's something that's been bothering me. It's been ten years, and I keep thinking about the role or lack thereof that witnesses might have played that night. Fresno isn't a small town by any means, and while I understand it was late at night, there still must have been people around or someone who heard something unusual that night.
Aside from the possible fear of coming forward due to potential threats, I wonder if there's a cultural or community mistrust of law enforcement that's preventing people from speaking up. I know this was an issue back in 2013, and I sometimes wonder if someone out there knows more than they're willing to share with the police.
My heart goes out to Carlos' family—they deserve closure. If we can help keep this conversation alive, maybe it can push someone to finally share what they know. Every little bit can help bring justice to Carlos and his loved ones.

Take care and stay safe.
