Does anyone else think it's incredibly chilling that Brittany's son was in the house when this happened? I can't even begin to imagine what that poor child might have heard or sensed that day. It's such a haunting aspect to consider, especially knowing that his mother was taken away in such a violent manner. I hope he's surrounded by family members who can provide him with the love and support he needs as he grows up without her. This part of the case really sticks with me and makes it all the more tragic. Victims extend beyond those directly harmed, and children affected by these situations need all the love we can offer. My heart goes out to him and the rest of Brittany's family.

I’ve been thinking about the involvement of Charles Herzig in the tragic case of Brittany Fullwood. It’s absolutely terrible that he had to witness something so traumatic. From what I understand, he tried to warn Brittany by texting her when he saw Bernicki heading towards the house, which must have been terrifying for him. I can't even imagine how helpless he must have felt in that moment. It's heart-wrenching to know that he was there when everything unfolded and heard the gunshots. Even though he didn’t actually see the shooting, just being in that situation must have been a nightmare. I hope Herzig has been able to find some peace and support to cope with what he went through. It's so important that we remember the people who are secondary victims in these instances and ensure they get the help they need. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this tragedy, especially Brittany’s little boy who will grow up without his mom. What a senseless loss.
