Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some thoughts about Steven Maurice Lloyd's case. It’s so tough to comprehend the pain his family and friends must be going through, and I really hope they are finding some support to lean on right now. One thing that keeps nagging at me is the role that Garrett Jovante Batchelor played. Being charged as an accessory after the fact of first-degree murder at only 17 is serious. It makes me wonder what kind of influence or pressure might've been on him to get involved in something so terrible. It's chilling to think about someone so young being tied up in such a heinous crime. The fact that this happened at the Executive Inn on North Wesleyan Boulevard, a place probably considered familiar by many, must've rattled the community. I hope that they're able to come together and help support each other as they work through the aftermath of this tragedy. Thinking of Steven's loved ones, hoping they find some semblance of peace as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
