I’ve been following Shalice Sutton’s case closely, and one detail that’s been on my mind is how the neighbors on Lamon Street responded in the aftermath. It was reported that some neighbors heard the gunshot and called 911 immediately. It’s a chilling reminder of how domestic violence can affect not just those directly involved, but the entire community. I can't help but think about the trauma those witnesses must have experienced. It’s so important that neighbors step up and support each other, especially in times like this. I'm hoping the community has been able to come together to heal and support Shalice’s family through this unimaginable period. Sending love and strength to all who knew her.

It's so commendable that even in such a painful situation, these residents came together to assist law enforcement to the best of their abilities.
