Remembering J'Quan: I’ve been thinking about how J'Quan was just a young man beginning his life journey, and it’s so hard to wrap my head around what his family has gone through. A buddy of mine who knew him from school always talked about how J'Quan had this genuine way of lifting others up without even trying. It's heartbreaking to think that he's gone and in such a violent way. I can't imagine what his family, especially his mom and younger brother, are dealing with every single day. It's tragic that fear and misunderstanding led to such a devastating outcome. When we think about these tragedies, it becomes clear just how important community support is. My thoughts are with them as they continue to navigate such a painful path.
