Has anyone else been following the uptick in unsolved homicides in Detroit around 2014? I can't stop thinking about Darrell Jackson's case. He was just 25 when he was killed, and it's so frustrating to see so little progress in finding who was responsible. I've read that the area he was in was notorious for crime, but it seems like there's always more to the story, right?
It's tough to imagine what his family must be going through, especially without any closure after all these years. It's like the city's drowning in cases that just collect dust. I know the police have limited resources and all, but how do we change this pattern? Feels like something needs to happen to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the communities to get people talking and solving these cases. Anyone have thoughts on how advocacy groups could make more headway with these cold cases?
