Just when you think about how small Lumberton is, it really hits you how shocking this tragedy was. I remember reading about what happened to Keshion Devonta Ford, and it just doesn't make sense. It's so surreal to think that something this violent could happen right in our own neighborhoods. South Lumberton needs some healing, and I feel deeply for Keshion's family and friends. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts or gatherings to support them? Sometimes it feels like we focus so much on searching for justice that we forget about the families left behind to pick up the pieces. If folks are organizing any vigils or fundraising efforts, it would be good for all of us to come together and show our support, not just in words but through solidarity. It's crucial to remind people in our communities that we stand with them in these difficult times.
