I was just revisiting Devon Gilbert's case again, and one aspect that really sticks out in my mind is the sheer lack of updates from the authorities. It's like Devon's case has just been forgotten, despite the pleas from his family and the community. I know Detroit was dealing with a significant number of homicides in 2014, but each victim deserves justice, no matter how overwhelmed the system might be. Devon was only 20, and he had his whole life ahead of him. It must be devastating for his loved ones to face every day without any answers. I really hope someone comes forward with information, no matter how small it might seem. Cases like Devon’s won't see progress unless more people are willing to speak up. Let's keep reminding people that these victims matter and keep their stories alive.
