Does anyone else wonder if the increasing crime rates and lack of resources in Detroit might be contributing factors to the tragedy of Caron Walton's case? I feel for her family and friends who are left without answers. The statistics of unsolved cases in Detroit are staggering, making me think about the systemic issues at play here. Witness reluctance and limited physical evidence are barriers, but we have to believe that through improved forensic technology and community involvement, justice can be served. I truly hope that one day the Cold Case Unit can receive the resources they need to truly tackle these daunting numbers and bring some comfort to those who've lost loved ones. Thoughts and prayers to Caron’s loved ones as they endure this painful uncertainty.

Hi all, I've been following the case of Caron Walton, and it just really hits home how her story is a part of a much larger issue in Detroit. I'm particularly concerned about the lack of witness cooperation highlighted in so many of these unsolved cases. I understand the fear people might feel when it comes to speaking up, especially with the history of crime in the area. But I wonder if there's more that can be done to make people feel secure enough to share what they know? It's deeply frustrating to think that valuable information might be out there, locked away due to fear or distrust. I think about Caron's family and how desperately they must wish for answers. Maybe if there were stronger protection programs or incentives, more people would feel compelled to come forward. What do you guys think? How can the community balance the need for witness safety with the push for justice?
