Hey everyone, I've been following Alfredo Valentin's case for a while now, and something that stands out to me is the difficulty in searching open waters. It got me wondering about the types of technologies or methods that were available back in 2015 for underwater searches. Were there any specific sonar or scanning technologies used at the time, and have there been advancements since then that might be worth revisiting in this case? It’s frustrating to think about the limitations they faced and whether newer tech could make a difference. Also, does anyone know if community searches or volunteer efforts were organized alongside official search efforts back then? Any insight would be appreciated!

Has anyone else been following Alfredo Valentin's case? I've been reading through old posts and I find the lack of updates really concerning. It’s been over 8 years now since he vanished while boating, and still nothing new. I understand it’s tough when someone goes missing in open water, but it seems like there hasn’t been much progress at all. What puzzles me the most is how quickly someone can seemingly disappear without a trace. Is it common for cases like this, involving bodies of water, to remain unresolved for so long? I’m curious if there have been other similar cases in Florida that ended up getting solved. Maybe looking into those could offer some hope or new ideas for Alfredo's case.
