Hey everyone, I've been following Shotannette Turner's tragic case since her story first came to light. I was reading about how many challenges the Detroit Police Department faces with resources and the sheer volume of unsolved cases. It makes me wonder how communities can come together to support law enforcement in tackling this massive backlog. It seems like public cooperation is crucial, but with so much fear and mistrust, it's hard to see how to bridge that gap. For Shotannette's family and others like them, the wait for justice must be unimaginably painful. If anyone has thoughts on how we can encourage more witness cooperation or advocate for increased funding for the cold case units, I'd love to hear it. Maybe if we continue to raise awareness and keep these stories alive, more people will feel compelled to come forward with information. Every bit of support counts. Sending thoughts to her family and all those affected by similar loss.
