I've been following the case of Nathaniel Isenhour, and one particular aspect keeps gnawing at me. As someone who feels very deeply for his family, I can't imagine the pain they endured waiting for those crucial two years for any sort of justice or answers. It seems like an eternity to not know who might have been responsible for taking away such a vibrant soul. Nate was just at the cusp of adulthood with so much potential in sports and life—an all-around good guy by all accounts. It must have been unbearable for his parents, given his father's role as a deputy, knowing firsthand the complexities and challenges the police face in solving crimes. I do hope the recent charges bring some semblance of closure to them. Does anyone else think the delay in arrests might have affected the thoroughness of building a solid case against the suspects? ?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage that CMPD released of the vehicle linked to Nate’s tragic death. I can’t even imagine what Nate's family went through during that time, waiting for any sign of justice. It’s a reminder of how crucial those tiny details can be in an investigation. For anyone who might have been around that shopping center on the night of November 25, 2019—please, if there’s anything at all that didn’t sit right or looked out of place, don’t hesitate to reach out to the authorities. Sometimes the smallest clue can make a huge difference. My thoughts are with Nate’s family as they navigate this long journey towards justice.
