I’ve been thinking a lot about Kendrick Maynor’s case lately and how frustrating it must be for his family with the lack of answers. I live a few blocks from where the shooting happened on South Alston Avenue, and it’s disheartening to feel such a cloud of uncertainty hanging over the community. I remember reading that the area is usually a quiet neighborhood, and I've always felt safe here, but hearing about this tragedy was a visceral reminder of how fragile life can be. I keep wondering if anyone saw something that night that might help the investigation. Even something small could be a key piece of the puzzle. It’s been almost four years, and I just hope that someone with information finds the courage to come forward. Kendrick’s loved ones deserve to know what happened to him and why, and our community deserves to feel safe. My thoughts are with his family, and I hope answers come soon.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the community response to Kendrick Maynor's murder, and I truly believe that this kind of tragedy hits all of us in the heart in some way. Our neighborhoods should provide safety and comfort, not fear. I wonder if community engagement could be key here in coaxing out any witnesses or information providers who might feel hesitant. Have there been any neighborhood meetings or vigils? Sometimes these gatherings can encourage people to share what they know in a safe space. I'm hoping that as a community, we can rally around Kendrick's family and offer them the support they so desperately need right now. If anyone knows about community efforts or ways folks are trying to unite around this horrible event, I'd love to hear more about it. Every little action counts. Let’s hope we can find some clarity on what exactly occurred on that dreadful morning. Stay safe, everyone.
