Wow, I just came across some information about the Jonathan McCrory case, and it made me think a lot about how these events ripple through families and communities. I cannot imagine the pain his loved ones are going through. While I'm relieved to hear about the arrest of Travon Kierre Baker, it’s haunting to think about how this incident might have been avoided and the conversations around gun violence that need to happen. For those living in the area or anyone who is familiar with the events that night, has there been any talk or community initiatives started in Rocky Mount since this tragedy? Sometimes the community response can be such an important part of healing and prevention, but unfortunately, these issues can feel overwhelming. Sending support and thoughts to Jonathan's family and all those impacted. Let's hope justice brings at least a bit of comfort to them.
