I’m writing this with a heavy heart as I think about Diamond Preosha Richardson and that awful night in Sanford. One detail that has been haunting me is about the car she was in. From what I understand, Diamond was just innocently riding along when the unexpected happened. It’s hard to imagine being in the wrong place at the wrong time and how her loved ones must be feeling right now. I keep thinking about how fragile life is and how quickly everything can change. It’s terrifying to think that a random bullet had the power to take such a vibrant young woman from this world. My thoughts are with Diamond’s family and friends. I hope they find the strength and support they need to get through this incredibly difficult time. Also, immense gratitude to the police and marshal teams for quickly making those arrests. Let's all continue to hope for justice for Diamond and her loved ones.
