It’s absolutely devastating to think about what Jera’s family must be going through right now. I read that two men reportedly fled from the scene before the deputies arrived, which adds another layer of complexity to this already tragic situation. It makes you wonder about the roles these individuals played that night. Aaron Patrick Reavis mentioned that Gerald Lunsford shot Jera out of fear for himself, but who knows what truly happened in those moments? My thoughts are with Jera's family and loved ones as they navigate this painful process. It’s such a tight-knit community, and this loss is felt deeply by everyone. Let's hope the truth comes to light and justice is served soon. Does anyone know if more information has been released about the two men who ran from the scene?
