I've been following the tragic events that unfolded in Moncure, and my heart truly goes out to all the families affected, especially the Mansfield family. One aspect that I think gets overlooked is the role Ellis played in the local community. As someone who seems to have been deeply involved with his church and committed to his work at D&S Construction, I can only imagine the positive impact he must have had on those around him. His dedication and support were probably deeply woven into the fabric of Moncure. In moments of crisis like this, it’s a reminder of how integral these small communities are – where everyone knows each other and treat each other like family. Rebuilding after such a loss is going to be incredibly challenging for them. I hope the community can come together to support Patricia, Libby, and the other family members left behind. It's so important that they don't feel alone in this. If anyone knows of any support efforts or memorials being held, please share them here.
