Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Lloyd Farquhanson, and it really got me thinking about the role technology could play in solving these cold cases. It's so frustrating to see such a bright life cut short without any justice being served. I read somewhere that the Detroit PD's Cold Case Unit is trying to use new forensic technologies to revisit cases like Lloyd's. Does anyone know what kind of technology they're using or how effective it's been in other cities? It's heartbreaking to think about the families still waiting for answers after all these years. Hoping we can see some breakthroughs soon. Sending thoughts to Lloyd's family and everyone else affected by these unresolved tragedies. ?

I was just reading up on Lloyd Farquhanson's case and it really sheds light on the bigger issue Detroit faces with unsolved homicides. It’s so disheartening that families like Lloyd’s are left in limbo, waiting for answers that might never come. I heard there's a new push with the Cold Case Unit to use forensic tech to revisit these old cases. Does anyone know if they plan to start with cases like Lloyd's? Seems like advancements in DNA analysis and other tech could be game-changers if they have anything to work with. It’s crucial to keep talking about these cases so they stay on the radar––Lloyd deserves justice, and so do all the others. If anyone’s in Detroit, are there any upcoming community events or initiatives aimed at supporting cold case breakthroughs?
