Has anyone else been following the Male Calence Cody case? It's so disturbing to think about how vulnerable he was due to his disability. Makes me wonder if the killer specifically targeted him because they saw him as an easy target. The fact that this happened in Detroit, a city already grappling with so many unsolved homicides, just adds another layer of tragedy. I read somewhere that the community sometimes struggles with trust in law enforcement, which might be why witnesses are reluctant to come forward. It just breaks my heart that people who might have seen something that day are too scared to speak up, leaving Cody’s family without the justice they desperately need. I hope those teenagers, Cody Clark and Arkeene Broaden, will provide some clues as to why this happened. Stay strong, everyone! Let's keep talking and keep the pressure on so justice can be served.

I’ve been following Male Calence Cody’s case and I’m struck by the tragic vulnerability of his situation. Being unable to walk or run must have made him feel so defenseless, and it's truly sad to think of how that may have played into the events on that day in June 2015. My thoughts go out to his family and friends who have to endure this loss and the pain of knowing the young defendants’ ages. It’s unsettling to see such young lives involved in such a serious crime, raising questions about what's happening in our communities and how we can prevent future violence. It feels vital that we dig deeper into the factors leading kids down such paths and work harder on community support in Detroit to address these systemic issues. Sending hope to all affected by this case.
