Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Joshua Curtis Gorham’s case lately, and something that’s been on my mind is how this tragic event has impacted the young people in Washington, NC. From what I gather, Joshua was only 18 — just stepping into adulthood, with his whole life ahead of him. I can’t even begin to imagine what his friends are going through right now.
I’ve read a bit about how there was a visitation at Beach Grove FWB Church and then the graveside service. It must have been incredibly hard for his peers to say their goodbyes in such a formal setting, knowing there’s still so much left unanswered.
I feel for his family and friends, especially when the investigation doesn’t seem to be moving forward. It’s a heavy burden to bear. If there are any locals on here or people with connections to the area, maybe we can spread the word about how important any piece of information could be. It could really help the community see some closure. Let's keep Joshua and his loved ones in our thoughts. ?
I'm really troubled by the lack of progress in Joshua Curtis Gorham's case. It's been over three years, and it feels like his family has been left in a state of limbo, without any closure or justice. I can only imagine the pain his loved ones continue to endure. I wonder if there might be witnesses who haven't come forward yet, possibly out of fear or not realizing the significance of what they saw that night. If anyone reading this was in the area on July 4, 2020, or knows anything, even if it seems minor, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Every little detail could help bring answers and some measure of peace to Joshua's family. It's hard to see a community suffering like this without any resolution in sight.
