I've been following the case of Carson Adkins and Demarcus Smith, and something that really stands out to me is the community's response in Snow Hill and Walstonburg. It seems like both towns have really rallied together to support the families and remember the lives of these two young men. From what I've read, Carson and Demarcus were both quite loved and respected, and it's as if the towns are treating this like a personal loss. I came across a few posts mentioning candlelight vigils and memorials being held in their honor. It honestly gives me a sense of hope that even in the darkest times, the community can come together to shine a light on the lives lost and help each other heal, even as they seek justice for this horrible crime. It’s important to see everyone supporting one another, and it might just provide a small comfort to the grieving families to know that their loved ones touched so many lives. Has anyone here attended any of these vigils or memorials? I'd love to hear more about them and the ways in which Carson and Demarcus are being remembered.
