I've been following the tragic case of Selvaraju Vellingiri, and my heart goes out to his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. As someone who's from a small town myself, it really hits hard to think about such violence occurring in a close-knit community like Cary. I can only imagine how unsettling this must be for everyone who knew him. What struck me was the community's response and how they came together for that candlelight vigil at Bond Park. It’s a powerful reminder of the strength and support people can offer each other in times of tragedy. Selva seemed like a wonderful man, deeply embedded in community activities and dedicated to his family, and it’s just so sad to think his life was cut short while doing something as simple and peaceful as going for a walk. It’s frustrating that there haven’t been any leads or suspects identified yet. I hope anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, eventually comes forward so that justice can be served for Selva. The police haven’t indicated any ongoing danger, which is a small relief, but it doesn’t ease the pain of those who miss him. Just trying to keep this case in the public eye and encourage more attention to it, because Selva deserves justice, and his family deserves answers.

It's been over three years since Selva was taken from his family and our community, and it’s still hard to believe such a caring soul could be gone so senselessly. I’ve been reflecting on the outpouring of love and unity at the candlelight vigil held for him. It was a profound moment seeing people from all walks of life coming together to remember the positive impact Selva had on Cary. He brought us together through his involvement with the Tamil Sangam and the Isha Foundation, teaching us the true essence of community and compassion. I remember attending some of these gatherings where Selva inspired many with his wisdom and kindness. It's important we continue in the spirit of his legacy and ensure his contributions do not fade into memory. The fact that no suspects have been named is both frustrating and disheartening. I can only hope that someone with information finds the courage to speak up, so we can find justice for Selva and peace for his family. Does anyone else remember specific stories or moments with Selva at the Sangam events that really illustrated who he was? Sharing these might help remind us all of the light he brought into our lives.

I was reading through some old articles about Selva's case, and I can't help but feel for his family. I can't imagine what it must be like to have a loved one taken so suddenly and violently. It's impressive to see how much he was involved in the community, especially with the Tamil Sangam and the Isha Foundation. It's clear he left a lasting impact on so many people around him. I’m particularly curious about the detail of the person seen running through the yard right after the gunshots. Has there been any follow-up on this lead? It seems odd that there's no suspect even after such a crucial sighting. Surely there must be someone out there who knows more. I seriously hope that anyone with even the tiniest piece of information feels compelled to speak up and help bring some justice and closure to his family and the community that cherished him so dearly.
