I've been following the case of Terrance Sibert, and I just can't stop thinking about how the backlog of cases in Detroit impacts families seeking justice for their loved ones. Imagine being in their shoes, waiting for answers and knowing that so many other families are in the same situation. It's beyond frustrating. I'm encouraged by Detroit's move to engage the community through their cold case webpage. It seems like a step in the right direction—they need all the help they can get from locals who might know something crucial. With technological advancements, there's hope that one day the scales will tip in favor of justice for those like Terrance and so many others. It's heartbreaking, but progress, even if slow, is still progress. Does anyone know if other cities have found success with similar community engagement strategies?
