I've been following Norman Spencer Jr.'s case for a while now, and it's been on my mind how these unsolved cases really take a toll on the families left behind. It's just so tough to imagine what Norman's family must be going through—waiting so long without any solid answers. What really strikes me about this case is the challenge of getting witness cooperation. In cities like Detroit, where violent crimes have sadly become more common, there seems to be a culture of fear or mistrust that keeps people from coming forward. I've heard that neighborhoods where these crimes occur often face intimidation or fear of retaliation, which makes it even harder for witnesses to speak up. I can't help but wonder what needs to change in these communities to build a sense of safety that empowers people to provide tips without fear. Maybe initiatives that build trust between law enforcement and the community could make a difference, but it's easier said than done. Just sending love and strength to Norman's family and hope that somehow, someone with information comes forward to help bring them some peace. If anyone has ideas on how communities can help overcome these barriers, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
