Has anyone else been following the case against Justin Joseph Brown, the man charged in the devastating shooting of Takira Grissett? I was revisiting some of the details and it's just so troubling to think about the delays in the court proceedings. A technical error in a court calendar should never add more pain for the victim’s family, but here we are. I read that Takira was a young woman with a bright future ahead of her — fresh into adulthood and tragically had her life cut short.
