Hey everyone, I’ve been following the updates on Devonte Washington's case, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the time of the incident. Being a little after noon on Celia Avenue, you'd expect that someone might have noticed something unusual or seen the shooter. It’s a residential area, and while people might’ve been at work, there are usually a few neighbors or passersby. I keep wondering if there was CCTV footage from nearby homes or businesses. In many neighborhoods these days, security cameras are quite common, and just having one camera catch even a glimpse of a vehicle or person could be a huge break in a case like this. My heart goes out to his family and friends; I can't even imagine the pain of losing someone so suddenly and tragically. I just really hope that anyone who knows anything or may have seen something comes forward. With the right lead, maybe justice can be served for Devonte.
