I’ve been reflecting on how much Kenyon Tatum gave back to his community, and it just adds another layer of tragedy to his passing. From what I’ve gathered, he wasn’t only a star on the basketball court; he was also someone who reached out to encourage and support local kids. It’s devastating to think that someone who devoted so much to uplifting others in Mocksville is no longer with us. I can only imagine the loss felt by his family and his children, Adalyn and Zavion. Let’s hope the investigation brings to light more about what happened, and justice is served. In the meantime, if anyone has more memories of Kenyon or how he impacted their lives, I think those stories might really honor his memory.
