Has anyone else delved into the aspect of Kenneth Henry Sumner's prankster personality possibly being a factor in his disappearance? It's been bugging me how he told his friend, "This is the last time you will ever see me," and wasn't taken seriously. Could it be possible that he was planning to pull some kind of prank or disappear temporarily, and then something went wrong? I know it sounds a bit out there, especially considering the other theories like the escaped convicts, but maybe there's a chance that his personality led him into an unexpected situation. Have there been any other reports or behaviors from him in the past that would suggest he'd make such drastic remarks in jest? And why was he carrying two guns during what seemed like just a routine visit to his friend's house and potentially to his ranch? It's puzzling and might add another layer to understanding what could have happened.
I recently stumbled across Kenneth Henry Sumner's case, and can't stop thinking about the significance of his cryptic remark, "This is the last time you will ever see me." Given his reputation as a prankster, it's easy to dismiss it as just another joke, but what if there was more to it? Could Kenneth have had some foreboding feeling about heading to the ranch that day? Or perhaps did he have knowledge of something that he didn't or couldn't fully explain? It's unsettling that the phrase was brushed off at the time, but in hindsight, it makes me wonder if he had an inkling of what was to come or if he was involved in something that he didn’t want others to know about. It seems like such a lost opportunity to understand his mindset in those last moments, and whether it could provide any clues about what happened that day. Would love to hear thoughts on this or if there are other cases with similar stories.
