Has anyone else been looking into the connection between incidents at sweepstakes parlors and violence? It's so unsettling to hear about what happened to Edy Alvarado in Charlotte. I've read about other cases where these places seem to be targeted, and it really makes you wonder why they're such frequent crime scenes. Sweepstake parlors aren't always just a fun spot for games – sadly, they can become dangerous hotspots. Edy's case is such a strong reminder of that. It's terribly sad to think of someone just trying to manage his business, and then this happens. It's infuriating to know his family is still waiting for justice. Lots of love to Leyda and their children. Here's hoping the CMPD gets the breakthrough they need soon. If anyone else has insights or knows more about these parlors' vulnerabilities, maybe sharing could help in some way.
