I was reading about Avery's case and kept thinking about how this all happened in a place that's supposed to be a haven for students. You'd think a residential complex like Block 43, close to school, would be a safe zone. It's eerie to imagine Avery's friends or classmates learning about this right where they're supposed to feel secure. My heart really goes out to them and Avery's family. I hope more details emerge soon and that those who know something find the courage to speak up. Being a parent myself, I can't fathom the pain his family must be enduring. Let's all help keep this story alive in our communities and online to support Avery's loved ones in their search for justice.
