I can't stop thinking about the impact Ethan's case has had on the community in Supply, NC. It's clear from the outpouring of support and sorrow that Ethan was well-loved. The part that strikes me is how his family asked for donations to local homeless shelters or no-kill animal shelters in lieu of flowers. It really speaks to Ethan’s character and the values he must have held close to his heart. Amidst this tragedy, it's touching to see how his family is trying to create some positive change in his memory. Also, has anyone else noticed how much tighter this has brought the community? It’s a beautiful reminder of the good in people, even in such difficult times. Sending love and strength to Ethan’s mom, Robin, and everyone mourning his loss. ?
It's just so tough to wrap my head around how any of this happened in our quiet community. I grew up not too far from Supply, NC, and hearing about Ethan Cody Schroeder's tragic death has truly shaken so many of us.
I've been thinking a lot about the angle of Christopher Joseph Kelly's involvement. It makes me wonder about the dynamics between him and Ethan. How well did they know each other? Was there any past interaction that might have led to such a drastic action? It seems like such a senseless loss.
We often talk about gun violence in abstract terms, but when it hits so close to home, it really emphasizes the importance of understanding more about these cases, beyond just the headlines. My heart goes out to Ethan's family and friends; they must be going through so much pain. Sending them strength and hoping that the legal process brings some much-needed justice and closure.
