Does anyone else find it puzzling that Cristina Parodi's original report wasn't filed correctly back in 1979? I was looking through some old threads and noticed this detail, and it just doesn't sit right with me. How could someone go missing and not have a proper missing persons report until 2014? That’s a gap of 35 years! It makes me wonder if there were any overlapping cases or database issues back then. I mean, it's not like missing people suddenly reappear in records without a reason. Just thinking out loud here, but could there have been other cases around the same time that also slipped through the cracks? Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has found similar instances from that era.

Has anyone else heard about Cristina Parodi's case and her unusual scar? The large scar on her neck from previous thyroid surgery really stands out to me. Given how distinct it is, you'd think it would have prompted more leads or sightings over the years. It’s such a unique feature that I’d imagine anyone who met her would remember it, especially in the days leading up to her disappearance. It's baffling that there hasn't been more traction because of it. Maybe someone knows something but didn't realize the importance of that detail? Here's hoping that someone might come forward with new information that could finally bring clarity to what happened to her.

Does anyone know if they ever found out where Cristina Parodi was headed on the day she disappeared? It’s puzzling that there's so little information out there about her last known whereabouts. Pasadena isn’t exactly a small town, but it seems like no one saw anything or came forward with details back then. I wonder if there were any other missing persons cases in the area around that time. Could there have been a connection, or is it common for cases from that era to be so poorly documented? Especially curious about the delay in filing a new missing persons report in 2014. Would love to hear any theories or insights others might have!
