It’s puzzling how the white car and its occupants vanished without a trace. If someone spotted them, wouldn’t it be odd that no one else did, especially if they were in the area for any length of time? I wonder if they planned it out so meticulously that they were gone before anyone had a real chance to identify them or if it was just random chaos. Considering it was reported so early, I’d assume some people might have noticed, but maybe they were unfamiliar with the neighborhood, which got me thinking: What if they had scouted the store before and knew Morrison’s habits or his work schedule? Or what if it was more aligned with a personal vendetta, rather than a robbery gone wrong? Just boggles my mind how something so strange can leave almost no trail—especially in the late ’70s before we had today's tech to sort through. Anyone have thoughts—or ideally, any ideas or similar cases—that could shed light on how the car’s occupants managed to stay under the radar like this?
