Hey everyone, I've been following some of these cases for a while, and I wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind regarding Rashead Charleston's tragic death in 2016. It’s so disheartening to see how many families are still waiting for answers, and sadly, Rashead's family is among them. What strikes me is how witness reluctance plays such a huge part in these unresolved cases. It seems to be a significant roadblock for the authorities, especially in areas struggling with trust between the community and law enforcement. I understand the fear that witnesses might feel in speaking up, but it makes me wonder how we as a community might be able to support one another to change this narrative. I've been thinking about how local initiatives could help reassure witnesses. Maybe safe outlets or anonymous tip lines could be expanded or better publicized to make people feel safer about coming forward. I truly believe that the more we can facilitate open communication, the more likely we are to see justice for Rashead and others like him. To Rashead's family and those who knew him, I just want to express that so many of us out here are thinking of you, hoping for closure, and rooting for justice. It's truly a deeply frustrating situation, but I remain hopeful that the pieces will eventually fall into place. Would love to hear everyone else's thoughts on ways we can help bridge this gap between eyewitnesses and law enforcement. Stay safe, everyone.
