I was reading about Heather Renee White Boyce's case and can't help but think about how shocking it must have been for the employees and customers at Pugh's Tire & Service Center that day. Imagine going about your routine, maybe getting your tire fixed, and then witnessing such a traumatic incident. The impact on the workers and patrons who saw the altercation and heard the gunshot must be profound. It makes you realize that these tragedies ripple out far beyond just the immediate family and victim. I hope those who were present have received the support they need after experiencing something so devastating. Heather and her family are in my thoughts.
