I can’t wrap my head around the idea that someone from the church community, where you’d expect support and fellowship, could possibly be involved in something so horrific. It’s devastating to think that Darion and little Da'mari were taken away in such a brutal manner. The impact on the family and the entire neighborhood must be unimaginable. I hope the ongoing investigation provides the McClendon family with the answers they need and, most importantly, some semblance of peace. Anyone who can shed more light on this tragic night should definitely come forward—holding back won’t help ease this heavy burden on the community. Sending strength and hope to the family and those sweet kids who witnessed more than any child ever should.
