I've been thinking about the DA's decision to deem the shooting justified, and I can't help but feel unsettled. How does one truly determine what's justified in such a chaotic situation? It's hard not to have empathy for Dalton's mother, Lynn, and the rest of his family. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child and feeling like there wasn't a proper avenue for justice. I know the DA said they believed Dalton had a gun, but when you hear conflicting accounts from witnesses like Kimberly White and Brittany Green, it's difficult to know who to believe. It's a complicated case, but I truly hope for the sake of Dalton's loved ones that more clarity and true justice can eventually be found. It must be a relentless ache for his family, who cherished him so, to feel like they're left with more questions than answers. Sending strength to them all.

I've been following Dalton Lewis's case closely, and one thing that really gets to me is the role of the bail bondsmen in all of this. It breaks my heart for Dalton's family, especially his mom and fiancée, Brittany. The thought of being surrounded by people who didn't even identify themselves must have been terrifying for them. I can't even begin to imagine how those final moments felt. The bondsmen's claim that Dalton showed a gun seems so questionable given the circumstances. If Brittany's account is accurate and he had his hands up, why would anyone think he was a threat? It feels like there's more to this story that hasn't come to light. I hope the family gets some kind of closure, though I know nothing can bring Dalton back. It must be so tough for them to cope with the loss and the way it's been handled legally. Sending love to everyone affected.

I’ve been following Dalton Lewis’s case closely, and something that keeps nagging at me is the interaction between Brittany and the bondsmen right before the tragedy unfolded. From what I’ve read, it sounds like there was utter chaos, with Brittany left screaming for Dalton’s life. It’s hard to comprehend how terrifying that must have been for her and those kids, especially since they were about to go on such a mundane trip to Bojangles. It’s deeply upsetting to think of his fiancée and how she must replay those traumatic moments over and over. I can’t help but feel for Dalton’s family, especially his mom and aunt, who insist that things did not unfold as reported. What struck me was Dalton’s love for poetry and music, which suggests he had such a creative soul—a light that’s been extinguished far too soon. I hope they’re finding some way to cope with the impact and loss they’re facing, but I imagine it’s an uphill battle. My heart goes out to them as they continue to seek answers and justice.
