Has anyone else looked into the history of the areas where Greg’s bicycle was found? Hinckley isn't far from Dixon, but how did he end up there? It seems like such a strange detour considering he was heading to his grandmother’s. I wonder if there was someone or something specific in Hinckley that would have drawn him there. Maybe a friend he couldn’t tell his family about? It seems kind of risky to leave behind the bike, especially if that was his main mode of transportation at the time. I wonder if anyone in Hinckley remembers seeing Greg or might have a clue? Would be interesting to know more about the local happenings back then that might have intersected with his path.
Hey everyone, I just stumbled across the case of Greg James Birch and something's really puzzling me. When Greg shouted "I will never go back to Geneva," it made me wonder what might have happened there to make him that desperate to leave. It seems like something was going on that we might not know about. Does anyone have any insight into his life in Geneva or possible reasons he was so upset? The fact that he took off on foot after his family picked him up also suggests he was in some kind of distress. Was there anything reported about his friends, school, or local events around that time that might offer more context? Looking forward to your thoughts.
