Has anyone else been following the story of Shyheim "Big 31" Thornton? I came across something interesting in the updates. Apparently, there's been a lot of talk in the community about the security cameras in the Emily Loop area. It sounds like the neighborhood association had been in discussions about boosting surveillance but hadn’t gotten around to installing additional cameras before this tragic event. It makes me wonder if having more cameras installed could have provided key evidence or even acted as a deterrent. It's just frustrating to think that maybe, just maybe, these preventive measures could've made a difference. My heart goes out to Shyheim's family and all who loved him; no one should endure such a loss. I really hope the community comes together to get these systems in place so that this doesn't happen again. What are everyone else's thoughts on this?
