Does anyone else find it unusual that there was speculation about Dila having family ties to Michigan, yet it seems nobody has been able to confirm this after all these years? I know that back in the '80s, records weren't as easy to track as they are now, but you would think some hint or clue would have emerged from that angle by now. If Dila did have connections to Michigan, it could be crucial in understanding why she disappeared or where she might have gone. Maybe someone up there knows something and doesn't even realize it? Just feels like a thread that never got pulled hard enough. Thoughts?
