I can't stop thinking about the overwhelming courage it must have taken for the local community to come forward and assist in the investigation of Romello Raykel Lilly’s murder. It shows just how much Romello was loved in Parkton. It’s comforting to know that people are willing to stand up and be heard when something so senseless happens, even when it involves the fear of confronting someone who was considered armed and dangerous. It makes me hopeful that this community will find peace and healing in time. I just hope that anyone else who might know more about this tragic evening will step up and share what they know, so Romello’s family can have closure and justice can be fully served.
