Hey everyone, I was going through the details of the tragic 1972 incident in Baton Rouge and couldn't help but focus on the timing and nature of the demonstration. Does anyone else think it's significant that the Nation of Islam members chose North Boulevard near the Temple Theater for their demonstration? It seems like a strategic location, possibly chosen to maximize visibility and provoke a specific response. I've been wondering if there were any major events or gatherings in that area around the time that might have influenced their choice, or perhaps the area had some significance to their cause or mission. The whole situation must have been incredibly intense for everyone involved, especially with such a devastating outcome. My heart goes out to the families of all affected, including Thomas Davis. If anyone has more insight into the area's significance or context, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
