Has anyone else been following the Yuri Sem Isarev case from way back in 1985? It baffles me how little information there is about what happened to him. It's like he just vanished into thin air. I've seen so many people speculate about what could've happened, but nothing seems concrete. I found it odd that his dental and fingerprint records are on file, yet no DNA. Does anyone know if that's typical for cases around that time? It's reassuring to see the LAPD still considers it an active investigation after all these years, but I wonder what leads, if any, they might have. Also, was there any media coverage back in the day, or did it just slip through the cracks?
