I've been thinking about Dustin Shane Creech's passing and how difficult it must have been for his community in Walker and Ruston. It's always so tough when a young life is lost. I noticed something interesting in the obituary—they suggested donations for funeral expenses. I really feel for Dustin's family. Funeral costs can be overwhelming, especially when they're unexpected. It makes you realize how communities often have to rally together in times of crisis. I hope they got the support they needed to get through such a challenging time. Anyone else have thoughts on how rough it is trying to navigate the expense of a sudden loss? Did the community come together in a significant way to support Dustin’s family?
