I’ve been thinking about the impact the unsolved case of Anjelique Vu and Luong Nguyen has had on the New Orleans East community. It’s not just about finding justice for them, but also about restoring a sense of safety for everyone living in the area. It must be so unsettling for neighbors and friends, knowing that this happened so close to home and still, all these years later, questions remain unanswered. I remember reading about how active and vibrant Anjelique was in her community. She was known to be kind-hearted and always willing to lend a hand, which makes this even more tragic. It’s touching to see how the community has pulled together in support of the families; it shows how much they were loved and respected. I hope that with continued public awareness and cooperation with law enforcement, a break in the case will eventually emerge. It's crucial that we keep talking about it, keep the story alive, and continue to urge anyone with information to come forward. Every little bit helps, and the Vu and Nguyen families deserve answers and peace.
