I recently came across the case of Darleta Hurt, and something about it has been sticking with me. It's that sense of community you see; how St. Albans really came together when she went missing. The thing is, it seems like not a lot of details about the search have been widely shared besides those initial ground efforts. I wonder if there are folks out there who might remember participating in the search, possibly holding pieces to the puzzle without even realizing it. Maybe linking up with local archives or those who've kept diaries or journals from back then might unearth something new? Sometimes, even the smallest memory someone shares can become the critical clue needed to make a breakthrough. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences with cases where community memory played a key role years after the fact?
