I've been following the George Dyson case for a while, and something that hasn't been discussed much is the actual spot where he was found – Gilbert’s Cemetery. Can you imagine the eerie feeling of discovering something so tragic in a place that's meant to be peaceful? It's so unsettling. I wonder if there is any significance to the location, or if it was just a convenient or random spot for the perpetrator. Cemeteries are often secluded, but this one isn't too out of the way, being on Greenwell Springs Road. It makes me think about how vulnerable we all are in places that are supposed to be safe. My heart goes out to George's loved ones; I can't imagine their pain and frustration over the years it took for an arrest to be made. I'm grateful for the perseverance of law enforcement in digging deeper into old cases to finally piece together what happened. What do others think about the choice of location? Could there be more to it?
