Has anyone ever mentioned whether Miguel might have been trying to head somewhere specific when he went missing? I know Otay Lakes Road is kind of a remote area. I've been trying to figure out what might have drawn him there or if he could have been meeting someone. Is there any history of people going missing in that area around the same time? It just seems strange to me that his truck was left there with no apparent reason or evidence. Any thoughts or theories on this angle?

Given how long this case has been cold, I'm really curious about the company Miguel was working for at the time, Roel Construction.
