Does anyone remember hearing about the discovery of the human remains in Hendricks County back in 2013? I was digging into old cases and stumbled upon the identification of John Turner's remains using DNA technology years later. It’s wild how personal items like those Reebok shoes and the "Appalachian Mechanical" hat were found with the remains. Makes you wonder if those items belonged to him or if they have a significance in how his remains ended up there after so many years. The fact that it took until 2022 to make a definite match using DNA shows how far technology has come. I hope more answers come to light for his family’s sake. Does anyone have any more details about how he was connected to that property or those items?

Has anyone looked into the significance of the Appalachian Mechanical hat found with John Turner's remains? I find it curious that it was specifically mentioned in the report. Could this detail indicate a connection to someone he was working with or perhaps provide a clue about his last movements? It might be a long shot, but maybe someone remembers a business or individuals with links to that name in the 1980s in the Indianapolis or Hendricks County area. It just seems too specific to be irrelevant. Thoughts?
