Has anyone else been following the Terrance Scott case? It's incredibly frustrating to see another tragedy in our community unresolved. I live in the neighborhood, and people here are still on edge. Terrance was just living his life, standing on his porch of all places, when someone took it away in such a senseless act. I can't imagine what his family is going through. I've been hearing some talk about the Cold Case Unit possibly revisiting his case, which is a bit of hope, but I can't help but feel like more community involvement could make a big difference. Sometimes it seems like people shy away from speaking up out of fear or mistrust. It's understandable, but tragic too. Electing to stay silent only keeps the cycle going. Does anyone know of any community initiatives or meetings coming up that could help rally some more support? It could be a good way to remind everyone that justice might be slow, but it doesn't have to be out of reach.
